Clinical Case Report: Immediate Implant Placement with Soft Tissue Augmentation
Immediate implant placement in the maxillary molar region is often challenging due to wide alveolar sockets, variable bone quality, and proximity to the sinus. In this case series, SDS tissue-level zirconia implants were placed and supported with collagen blocks and platelet-rich fibrin (A-PRF/i-PRF) to promote osseointegration and peri-implant tissue health.
Clinical Relevance:
The characteristic balcony design of SDS implants enhances primary stability, reduces the risk of marginal bone loss, and supports a harmonious emergence profile. The combined use of PRF matrices and collagen provides clinicians with a reliable and clinically applicable approach to achieve stable, functional, and esthetic outcomes—even in demanding posterior sites.
